How do you measure the company’s success? Since we started SWS I think we have already been successful…in the people we have met, the customers we have helped, and with everyone who truly believes in what we are doing. However, I will know that we have been truly successful when I am able to give a college scholarship to a high school graduate who has had kidney failure or kidney related disease. This is in memory of Rick Jenkins.(see behind the butterfly)
Education and your biggest influence: School of hard knocks, and my mom.
Advice to the next generation: “Find something that you love and are passionate about and just do it. My mom always says ‘leap and the net will appear.’ It can be scary out there but if you have drive, passion, and peace about whatever it is you are doing, you will not fail.”
